Based on your requirements for increasing the technical lifetime of a ship-to-shore (STS) crane, we can identify and inspect the critical structural members and components and define any reinforcements based on stress and fatigue calculations.

Drone inspection for STS cranes.
Inspecting an STS crane can be a time-consuming and expensive process that takes your equipment out of service for as long as five days. Our drone inspection service is not only much faster, it is also 50 per cent less expensive than traditional methods. The entire process can be completed safely at ground level by just two people: a drone operator and a Kalmar crane specialist. The specialist assesses the drone footage and prepares a full report on your crane with recommendations on how to maintain its structural integrity.
